Limestone Sheriff’s Department Announces Drug Trafficking Arrest

The Limestone County Sheriff’s Department reports that Athens resident Jeffrey Dewayne Madry, age 37, has been convicted of trafficking methamphetamine, cocaine, illegal carrying of a firearm, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of marijuana.  He was arrested earlier this year, and a second case is still pending.  Sentencing is scheduled for December 17.
