Lawrence County Commission Committees Meet Next Week

Several Lawrence County Commission Committee meetings are scheduled next week in the second-floor conference room of the Administrative Center. On Tuesday, November 4, the Highway Committee meets at 4:30 p.m. to consider adding a road to the county list, the Agenda Committee at 5 p.m. will discuss resolutions for the November 25 Commission meeting, and the Veterans Committee at 5:30 p.m. will receive updates from Veterans Service Officer Donnie Morris. On Thursday, November 6, the Solid Waste Committee meets at 4:30 p.m. to consider bookkeeping write-offs, followed by the Facilities Committee at 5 p.m. to review renovation plans for the courthouse. The public is welcome to attend.
