Limestone Man Arrested Following Foot Chase

A man who had called 911 and threatened to kill his ex-girlfriend led Limestone County Sheriff’s deputies on a foot chase Friday morning near Highway 99 and Edgewood Road.  A K-9 officer was deployed to assist in the search, along with a drone unit.  The suspect, identified as Caleb Justin Chriswell, was located and apprehended approximately 1 mile from the initial scene.  Chriswell was charged with false reporting and attempting to elude authorities.  Additional charges may be forthcoming.
