Lauderdale Man Arrested for Electronic Solicitation of a Child

Examination of an electronic device in the wake of allegations regarding an inappropriate relationship with a juvenile victim in Lauderdale County, resulted in an arrest Tuesday. Authorities report that the device showed that resident Jodie Rogers solicited sexual acts and images from the juvenile. Rogers was arrested on charges of Possession of Obscene matter of Persons Under 17 and Electronic Solicitation of a Child. He was later released from custody after posting a bond of $125,000.
