Pulaski firefighters quickly contained a structure fire near East Woodring Street Thursday afternoon, according to WKSR. Officials said no injuries were reported, and crews were able to keep the blaze confined to the room where it started through an aggressive interior attack. The Pulaski Fire Department thanked Giles County Fire & Rescue for providing automatic mutual aid, which helped bring the fire under control and prevent further damage. The cause of the fire remains under investigation. Officials are reminding residents to check smoke detectors regularly and practice fire safety in their homes.
