Gwendolyn Jean Trapp

Gwendolyn Jean Trapp, age 76, of Lawrenceburg, TN passed away Tuesday, October 21, 2025, at Southern TN Regional Health System in Lawrenceburg, TN. She was a native of Lawrenceburg, TN, a homemaker, and of the Baptist Faith. She enjoyed sewing, quilting, and knitting. Most of all, she loved spending time with her grandchildren, great–grandchildren, and favorite grandchild, Ryder Kirk. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert Arnold and Clara Lee Favors Martin; one daughter, Frances Lee Rogers; and three siblings, Faye Cates, Douglas Martin, and Charlotte Dollar. 

She is survived by four children, Robert Dickey (Glenda), Richard Dickey (Kassie), Tracey Kirby, and Gena Kirk (Tim), all of Lawrence County, TN; fourteen grandchildren; twenty–nine great–grandchildren; two sisters, Robbie Roe of OH and Pat Fowler of Lawrence County, TN; two brothers, Delano Martin and Stewart Martin, both of Lawrence. County, TN; special friend, Barbara Dickey; and special niece, Christy Cates. 

Arrangements are being handled by Neal Funeral Home, 231 N. Military Avenue, Lawrenceburg, Tennessee. The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM Saturday, October 25, 2025, at Neal Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at Neal Funeral Home at 3:00 PM Saturday, October 25, 2025. Interment will follow at Shady Grove Cemetery in Ethridge, TN.
