Arkansas man loses life while boating on Tennessee River in Clifton area Saturday

A 37-year-old Arkansas man lost his life while boating on the Tennessee River in the Clifton area Saturday. According to information released through the Tennessee Highway Patrol, the man was boating with friends when he was somehow ejected from the boat, into the water. The friends were able to get him back into the boat and met emergency crews at Clifton Marina. Although lifesaving measures were attempted, he was pronounced dead at the marina. To-date, this marked the 23rd boating-related fatality on Tennessee waterways this year.
