PUBLIC HEARING ON ORDINANCE 1445

ORDINANCE NO. 1445

AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND ORDINANCE NUMBER 789 ENTITLED THE “ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF LAWRENCEBURG, TENNESSEE” BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAWRENCEBURG, TENNESSEE, A MUNICIPAL CORPORATION UNDER THE LAWS OF THE STATE OF TENNESSEE:

SECTION I: Pursuant to the positive recommendation of the Planning Commission of the City of Lawrenceburg, Tennessee, the property belonging to Maria Christensen located on 212 Pulaski Street be zoned from C-3 (General Commercial District) to C-1Central Business District).  Purpose of rezone is to allow the property to be used as an office downstairs and a residence upstairs.  Special Exception must be submitted to the Zoning Board of Appeals and approved.  Second Reading

ORDINANCE NO. 1446

AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND ORDINANCE NUMBER 789 ENTITLED THE “ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF LAWRENCEBURG, TENNESSEE” BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAWRENCEBURG, TENNESSEE, A MUNICIPAL CORPORATION UNDER THE LAWS OF THE STATE OF TENNESSEE:

SECTION I: Pursuant to the positive recommendation of the Planning Commission of the City of Lawrenceburg, Tennessee, (contingent upon staff approval of the proposed minor plat) the property belonging to Hughes Living Trust located on  south side of Gallaher Street zoned from C-3 (General Commercial District) to R-2 (Low Density Residential).  Purpose of rezone is to allow for the subdivision of the lot into 2 lots, one with less than 75’ road frontage for single family residential construction.  First Reading

A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAWRENCEBURG, TENNESSEE TO ENTER INTO AN AGREEMENT WITH MONTROSE ENVIRONMENTAL SOLUTIONS, INC TO ASSIST THE CITY OF LAWRENCEBURG IN IDENTIFYING BROWNFIELD LOCATIONS AND IMPLEMENTING REVITALIZATION PLANS FOR THE RECLAIMING OF ABANDONED SPACES SUPPORTING ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT AS WELL AS APPLYING FOR GRANTS FOR SAID PROJECTS
