Burn Permits Required Oct.15 – May 15

The Tennessee Department of Agriculture, Forestry Division, is reminding the public that as of October 15, burn permits must be obtained before you do any outdoor burning.  State law requires that burn permits must be obtained each year between October 15 and May 15.  Before burning, you must also check with your local county and city governments to see if a permit is required.  You may see outdoor burning guidelines and obtain a burn permit by visiting: TN.gov/TnWildlandFire.
