Perry Crash Claims One Life

A crash on Highway 412 in Perry County claimed one life Tuesday morning.  The Tennessee Highway Patrol indicates that Andrew Maxwell was driving a dump truck eastbound when he failed to negotiate a curve.  The truck overturned, coming to rest in the roadway.  Maxwell died at the scene.  A secondary crash was also reported that resulted in minor injuries to the driver.  In that crash Samantha Sharp, age 32, swerved to avoid the dump truck wreck, causing her vehicle to overturn and catch fire.
