Capley Announces Grant Funds for Lawrence and Wayne Senior Centers

State Representative Kip Capley has announced that some $65 thousand in state grants have been secured to improve facilities and expand services for older adults in Lawrence and Wayne Counties.  The funding is part of a $5 million initiative administered by the Tennessee Department of Disability and Aging to support senior centers statewide.  Lawrence County Senior Center will receive $50,000 in funding, while Wayne County Senior Citizens, Inc., will receive $15,000.
