Local Girl Scout Earns Gold Award

Girl Scouts of Lawrence County has announced that Ambassador Girl Scout Julianna Glass of Summertown Troop 1067 has earned the highest award a Girl Scout can achieve – the Gold Award.  Glass earned the award after installing a motivational rock garden at Kid’s Place Child Advocacy Center for her service project.  The garden features rocks painted with inspirational messages.  The garden is designed to bring smiles, hope and inspiration to children for years to come.
