Threats at Catholic School Lead to Arrest

A Lawrence County man was arrested Thursday in the wake of an altercation at Lawrenceburg Sacred Heart Catholic Church.  Information released through Lawrenceburg Police Department indicates that two drivers became engaged in a verbal altercation during student pickup.  One driver allegedly made threats against the other as well as derogatory comments against the Catholic religion.  After investigating, authorities charged the man with harassment.  Safety protocols were implemented at the school to ensure student safety and a threat assessment is to be conducted.
