Clifton Public Works Employee Arrested on Child Sex Charges

A Public Works operator for the city of Clifton, Tennessee, was arrested in Madison County on child sex crime charges, according to WAAY 31. Court documents indicate 26-year-old Hunter Pevahouse was taken into custody Saturday on charges including traveling to meet a child for an unlawful sex act, sodomy, and rape. The documents allege Pevahouse traveled from Clifton to Huntsville, Alabama, and raped a 13-year-old in early September. Pevahouse was booked into the Madison County Jail on bonds totaling $15,000 but has since bonded out. He is confirmed as a Public Works operator for the city of Clifton.
