Help Available for Victims of Domestic Violence

October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month and the Huntsville Police Department is reminding victims that help is available.  HPD partners with Crisis Services of North Alabama to provide emergency shelter, counseling and vital assistance for domestic violence victims.  They also have trained Domestic Violence Responders who ride along with officers to provide on-scene resources.  If you or someone you know needs help, they urge you to call 256-716-1000.
