Lawrence Edward Ellis

Lawrence Edward Ellis, age 86, of Lawrenceburg, TN passed away Monday, September 29, 2025, at his residence.  He was a native of Logan County, WV, retired from Awery’s Bakery, and a member of Gandy Church of Christ.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Fred and May Bryant Ellis; his wife, Laura Ann Rochelle Ellis; and one daughter, Laura Kathleen Witkowski.

He is survived by one son, Lawrence Keith Ellis of Howell, MI; six grandchildren, Laura Hulk, James Gower, Jesse Witkowski, Lawrence Kenneth Ellis, Michael Ellis, and Judy Ellis; eight great-grandchildren; three brothers, Robert Ellis of MI, Roger Ellis of AZ, Fred Ellis of MI; two sisters, Carol Sue Powers of FL and Ruth Ann Madigan of AZ.

Arrangements are being handled by Neal Funeral Home, 231 N. Military Avenue, Lawrenceburg, Tennessee.  The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM Saturday, October 04, 2025, at Gandy Church of Christ.  Funeral services will be conducted at Gandy Church of Christ at 3:00 PM Saturday, October 04, 2025, with Larry Murdock officiating.  Interment will follow at Rochell Cemetery in Westpoint, TN.  Condolences may be sent by way of our website at www.nealfuneralhome.net.
