Lawrence County EMS responded to 571 calls in September, transporting 372 patients to local hospitals. Of those, 42 were taken to MRMC, 16 to NAMC, one to STRHS-Pulaski, and 30 to other counties. EMS crews recorded 115 refusals of care or calls where no treatment was required, and responded to 15 fire, law enforcement, or mutual aid requests. Additionally, 67 calls were canceled or resulted in no patient found. Crews also hosted two community outreach or lifesaving training events during the month. Call volume in September 2025 was roughly equal to the same month in 2024, with a slight decrease from August, following historical trends. EMS personnel participated in continuing education opportunities including pediatric education, mass-casualty incident management, medication errors, and annual skills competency training. During the Middle TN District Fair, only two patients required transport, and crews provided standby coverage for seven football games.
