Waylon Lee Wright

Waylon Lee Wright, 77, of Florence died Monday, September 22, 2025, at his residence.

Visitation will be Saturday, September 27, 2025, 11 AM to 12:45 PM at Elkins Funeral Home. A graveside service will follow at 1 PM at Tri-Cities Memorial Gardens with Billy Coonce officiating.

He was preceded in death by his daughter, Michelle Wright; parents, O.C. Wright and Virginia Green Wright.

He is survived by his loving wife, Sharon Wright; many friends and family.

He worked for TVA and loved his crew. He enjoyed patriotism, fixing watches and clocks. He was a member of Creekside Church and was loved supporting the North Alabama Chistian Children’s Home. He supported Chloe’s fund.
