Mount Pleasant Officials Offer Car Seat Checks

In conjunction with Child Passenger Safety Week September 21 through 27, Mount Pleasant Police and Fire Departments is offering to check children’s car seats to ensure that they are installed properly.  Stop by either department throughout the week.  Also, the Columbia Police Department is urging parents to visit:  CarSeatSafety.kids to ensure that your child is traveling in an age, size, and stage appropriate car seat.  They point out that using the right seat at the right time saves lives.
