Department of Revenue Warns of Scam

The Tennessee Department of Revenue is warning the public of a text message scam that is currently circulating.  Victims receive a message that appears to be from the department regarding refunds.  They urge you not to click on the link included, as it directs you to a fake website for payment details, promising that, once you enter all information, your refund will be deposited directly into your bank account.   They emphasize that this is a scam, urge you to delete the message and report it as spam.
