Burn Victim Succumbs to Injuries

A local man who was seriously injured in a September 9 brushfire on Rattlesnake Lane in the Leoma fire district, has died from his injuries.  The fire was ignited by a riding lawnmower, spreading to grass and brush and presenting a threat to a nearby structure.  The victim sustained significant burns and other injuries and was airlifted to a Level 1 Trauma Center for treatment.  He subsequently succumbed to his injuries last week.
