Lawrence County Fire Rescue Responds to At Least 22 Calls This Week

Lawrence County Fire Rescue has responded to at least 22 calls for service this week, including a hazardous materials response, vehicle fires, motor vehicle crashes with injuries, a crash requiring extrication from two vehicles, fire alarm and carbon monoxide activations, high-priority medical calls, and grass fires. During one vehicle fire earlier in the week, a small rescue truck arrived first and quickly began firefighting using a compressed air foam system, with an engine company arriving shortly afterward to assist.
