Lawrenceburg Rotary Club Honored with 2025 Club Excellence Award

The Lawrenceburg Rotary Club was recognized during its September 12, 2025, meeting with the prestigious 2025 Rotary Club Excellence Award. The award was formally presented to Past President John Johnstone by Immediate Past District Governor Darrell Ailshie.  Past District Governor Eddie Allred described the significance of the Club Excellence Award which is earned by clubs that demonstrate excellence in priorities such as supporting the Rotary Foundation, fostering leadership, and promoting Rotary’s mission of “Service Above Self.”  Only 22 clubs out of 65 in Rotary’s western half of Tennessee District 6760 earned the award in 2025. Club leaders expressed gratitude for the recognition and reaffirmed the Lawrenceburg Rotary Club’s ongoing commitment to serving Lawrence County and supporting international service efforts. The Lawrenceburg Rotary Club meets weekly at Lawrenceburg Rotary Park and is part of Rotary International, an organization of 1.2 million members worldwide who work to make lasting change in their communities and across the globe.
