The Lawrenceburg Rotary Club devoted its September 12, 2025, meeting to preparations for the upcoming Middle Tennessee District Fair (MTDF). Rotarian Bill Phillips led a refresher course on the operation of the fair’s electronic ticketing system, ensuring Rotarians are ready to handle one of the fair’s most important functions. Fair Manager Tad Keaton then presented an overview of the 2025 Fair Schedule, introduced Event Coordinators, and provided a general run-down of fair operations. Keaton expressed gratitude to Rotarians for the significant work already accomplished in preparation and for the many manhours they will volunteer during the fair. The Middle Tennessee District Fair will open on Thursday, September 18, for its traditional ten-day run, concluding on Saturday, September 27. The Lawrenceburg Rotary Club meets weekly at Lawrenceburg Rotary Park and continues to serve the community through projects like the Middle Tennessee District Fair, which provides vital support for youth, education, and charitable causes throughout Lawrence County.
