Lawrence Fire Departments Receive Grant Checks

Fire departments across Lawrence County were recipients of grant funds presented Friday through the Tennessee State Fire Marshal’s Office.  Checks were presented to volunteer fire departments and rescue squads serving Lawrence, Maury, Giles, Perry, Wayne and Hickman counties.  Lawrence County Departments received more than $492,000 in funding.  Checks were presented to representatives of Centerpoint, Crossroads, Ethridge, Gandy, Henryville, Iron City, Leoma, Loretto, Southeast, Summertown and West End Volunteer Fire Departments.
