Columbia Police Seek Information on Hit-And-Run

The Columbia Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying a driver involved in a fatal hit-and-run incident early Thursday.  Around 5 a.m. a pedestrian was found lying in the roadway on Tom J. Hitch Parkway, near River Highlands Apartments.  Sixty-three-year-old Teresa Nelson was pronounced dead at the scene.  CPD is asking anyone who has information regarding the hit-and-run to contact the department at 931-388-2727, or email information to: SafeTips@ColumbiaTN.gov.
