Chantel Courtney Southern

Chantel Courtney Southern, age 38, of Ethridge, TN passed away Thursday, September 11, 2025.  She was a native of Pomona, CA, a dental assistant with Lawrenceburg Dental, and attended Thousand Hills Cowboy Church.  Chantel was a devoted mother of three beautiful girls.  They were her whole world, along with her granddaughters.  She was the best “Lolli” which she took great pride in.  Chantel was a loyal fiancée, sister, daughter, aunt, and friend who loved with all she had.  Above all she knew Jesus Christ was her savior.  She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

She was preceded in death by her father, Jody Southern; and her step-father, Terry Yokley.

She is survived by fiance’, Antonio Lopez of Ethridge, TN; her mother, Julie Yokley of Ethridge, TN; three daughters, Addy Juarez (Jaime) of Lawrenceburg, TN, Briella Rose of Ethridge, TN, and Emorie Rose of Ethridge, TN; two grandchildren, Hazel Juarez and Haven Juarez, both of Lawrenceburg, TN; three step-children, Dominick Lopez of Lawrenceburg, TN, Madison Lopez of Lawrenceburg, TN, and Alyson Lopez of Ethridge, TN; one sister, Angie Southern of Ethridge, TN; one brother, Cory Southern (Rachel) of Ethridge, TN; several nieces and nephews.

Arrangements are being handled by Neal Funeral Home, 231 N. Military Avenue, Lawrenceburg, Tennessee.  The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM Monday, September 15, 2025, and from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM Tuesday, September 16, 2025, at Neal Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at Neal Funeral Home at 1:00 PM Tuesday, September 16, 2025, with Nathan Duncan and Ben Gooch officiating.  Interment will follow at Lawrence County Memorial Gardens in Lawrenceburg, TN.  Family suggests memorials be made to Old National Bank in an account for Chantel’s daughters.  Condolences may be sent by way of our website at www.nealfuneralhome.net.
