Fire Quickly Contained in Ethridge Home

On Monday, September 8, Lawrence County Fire Rescue responded to a reported structure fire in the Ethridge Fire District. Dispatch information indicated that the house was occupied and flames were visible. Fire crews quickly arrived on scene, and Ethridge Chief 2 confirmed that the fire was extinguished and contained to the item of origin. All units except the first-due engine were subsequently canceled.
