Huntsville PD Anti-Crime Team Announces Successful Operation

After months of work, the Huntsville Police Department’s Anti-Crime Team was able to shut down a prescription drug operation in Huntsville and Madison County Tuesday.  During the operation they were able to seize some $45,000 in prescription medication, $72,000 in cash, and three firearms.  Huntsville resident Vernon Hereford, age 71, was arrested on charges of drug trafficking, possession of a controlled substance, and being a convicted felon in possession of a firearm.
