Three Lawrence Agencies Awarded Grant Funds

Three Lawrence County agencies received grant awards through the Tennessee Highway Safety Office for the 2025-26 fiscal year.  Ethridge Volunteer Fire Department was awarded $11,575 earmarked for the purchase of extrication equipment. Another $10,000 was awarded to the Lawrenceburg Police Department to boost high visibility enforcement. Also, grant funds of more than $287,000 has been awarded to the 22^nd Judicial District Attorney General for DUI prosecution.  Altogether, Lawrence County recipients will receive nearly $309,000.
