The Pulaski Fire Department has released its activity report for August 2025, highlighting the calls and services handled by firefighters throughout the month. According to the report, crews did not respond to any structure or grass fires during August. Firefighters were dispatched to five fire alarm or false fire alarm calls, one gas leak, and one motor vehicle accident. They also handled one citizen or agency assist, three smoke alarm installations, and one public service call. The department reported two training events, two EMS assists for landing zones, three standby events, and one incident involving powerlines down on fire. No weather-related events, carbon monoxide alarms, or illegal burn incidents were noted. In addition to emergency response, firefighters completed preplanning inspections that were replaced this month with hydrant flow testing, in line with ISO requirements. Around 300 hydrants have been tested so far.
