Teresa Ann Thomson

Teresa Ann Thomson, age 68, of Saint Joseph, TN passed away Tuesday, August 26, 2025, at NHC Healthcare Scott in Lawrenceburg, TN. She was a native of Olivet, MI, and formerly employed at Forsythe Painting. She enjoyed crocheting, making garments for children, and engraving glass. She especially loved her family, grandson, and her dogs and cats.

She was preceded in death by her father, Merle DeGroots; and mother, Ann Hickok Allen.

She is survived by two sons, Jamie Thomson (Misty) and Donnie Thomson; one grandson, Owen Thomson; her fiance’, Jim Peregoy; one brother, Jim DeGroot; and two sisters, Deb Larimer and Christe Hansen.

Arrangements are being handled by Neal Funeral Home, 231 N. Military Avenue, Lawrenceburg, Tennessee. The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM Saturday, September 06, 2025, at Neal Funeral Home. A memorial service will be conducted at Neal Funeral Home at 1:00 PM Saturday, September 06, 2025, with Kerry Shopher officiating. Inurnment will be held at a later date at Bosworth Cemetery in Walton Township, MI.
