The Tennessee Highway Patrol will conduct multiple sobriety checkpoints across several counties on Friday, August 29, 2025. Checkpoints are scheduled in Maury County at State Route 7, 0.1 miles south of Knob Creek Road; Lincoln County on U.S. Highway 431 at the 2.6-mile marker near Cane Creek Bridge; Perry County on State Route 13 North, 0.1 miles north of the 29-mile marker; and Giles County on U.S. Highway 31 at the 9.5-mile marker. These checkpoints are part of ongoing efforts to reduce impaired driving and enhance roadway safety. Motorists are reminded to drive responsibly, obey traffic laws, and designate a sober driver if consuming alcohol.
