Lynnville’s Richland School is among 179 schools and youth organizations selected to receive funding in the Tennessee Valley Authority’s first-ever robotics awards program, according to WKSR.
Richland was awarded $5,000 through TVA and Bicentennial Volunteers, Inc. to expand its robotics program. The funding may be used for new equipment, team opportunities, or classroom technology that enhances STEM education.
TVA officials say the initiative is aimed at giving students hands-on experience with robotics and coding—skills that are increasingly valuable in today’s workforce.
Richland’s award was made possible through TVA’s partnership with Pulaski Electric System, highlighting the role of local support in advancing educational opportunities for Giles County students.
