Donnie Long

Donnie Long, age 65, of Lawrenceburg, TN passed away Sunday, August 17, 2025, at his residence.  He was a native of Lawrence County, TN, and a retired lineworker from Murray Ohio.  He loved riding his Harleys, fishing, and spending time with his grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Delbert Long and Alma Jean Ashmore Henderson; and twin brothers, Kerry Long and Gary Long.

He is survived by his wife, Terry Long of Lawrenceburg, TN; one daughter, Sara Dollar (Jason) of Ethridge, TN; four sons, Shane Long (Kesha) of Ethridge, TN, Shannon Long (Tia) of Westpoint, TN,  Cody Long of Iron City, TN, and Casey Anderson of GA; one step-daughter, Kacey Kephart (Matthew) of Ethridge, TN; two sisters, Peggy Johns (Mike) of Ethridge, TN and Linda Clark of Lawrenceburg, TN; one brother, Ronnie Long (Carol) of Lawrenceburg, TN; fifteen grandchildren; six great-grandchildren with one on the way; fur baby, Boss; several nieces and nephews.

Arrangements are being handled by Neal Funeral Home, 231 N. Military Avenue, Lawrenceburg, Tennessee. The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM Wednesday, August 20, 2025, at Macedonia Baptist Church.   Funeral services will be conducted at Macedonia Baptist Church at 1:00 PM Wednesday, August 20, 2025, with Jarrett Scott and Matthew Kephart officiating.
