Bonnie Joy Bump

Bonnie Joy Bump, 92, of Florence died Monday, August 18, 2025, at The Renaissance of Florence.

 Visitation will be Friday, August 22, 2025, 11 AM to 12 PM at Elkins East Chapel. Funeral service will follow at 12 PM in the chapel with Bro. Ronnie Jones officiating. Burial will be at Killen Baptist Cemetery.

 She was a member of Center Star First Baptist Church. She was the pianist for Center Star Baptist Church and Killen Baptist Church for 50 years.

 Mrs. Bump was preceded in death by her husband, Billy Bump, Sr.; brother, Jesse Duffey, Jr.; sister, Nancy Sledge; parents, Jesse B. Sr. and Ruth Penny Duffey.

She is survived by her children, Kathy Smith (Carter) and Billy Bump, Jr. (Kimberly); grandchildren, Robyn Podhajser (Frank), Matthew Smith (Alison), Levi Bump (Rebecca), and Liza Andersen (Fiancé, John Marek); great=grandchildren, Tristan and Marissa Podhajser, Easton and Callen Smith, Lily Andersen, Jude Bump, and Ezra Bump; sister, Penny Gribble (Newton).
