Lewis Man Faces Child Rape Charges

The Lewis County Sheriff’s Office was called upon to assist the U.S. Marshals Service last week when they served an indictment at an RV property on Henderson Road.  The indictment was issued through the Metro Nashville Police Department.  Thirty-nine-year-old Marc A. Carpenter was arrested on 3 counts of rape of a child as well as aggravated sexual battery of a victim under the age of 13, and 3 counts of attempted aggravated sexual battery of a victim under 13.
