The Lawrenceburg, Pulaski, and Pulaski Evening Rotary Clubs joined together Thursday evening at the Lawrenceburg Golf and Country Club for a special Multi-Club Social, featuring Rotary District 6760 Governor Chris Williams as guest speaker. Governor Williams’ program addressed three thought-provoking questions: What makes a good Rotarian? What makes a good Rotary Club? And how do we make it easier for service-minded people to become Rotarians? With his trademark humor and candor, Williams also urged Rotarians to take action, be visible in the community, and engage new members. He highlighted the importance of active involvement, meaningful service projects, and strong fellowship as the keys to a thriving club. Governor Williams noted that District 6760 recently achieved the greatest positive net membership gain in Zone 31, a reflection of clubs embracing creativity, flexibility, and a renewed focus on Rotary’s core mission of “Service Above Self.” The evening provided Rotarians from across southern Middle Tennessee an opportunity to network, share ideas, and strengthen ties among neighboring clubs. The collaborative atmosphere underscored Rotary’s belief that clubs working together can have a greater community impact. The Lawrenceburg Rotary Club meets each Friday at noon at Lawrenceburg Rotary Park. Rotary International is a worldwide service organization of over 1.2 million members, committed to humanitarian service, ethical leadership, and building goodwill and peace.
