Phillip Howard Burbank

Phillip Howard Burbank, 57, of Killen, AL, passed away August 10, 2025 at NAMC in Florence, AL. Phillip was a Heavy Machinery Operator for Lauderdale County Road Department and a member of Hickory Flat Freewill Baptist Church. Phillip was also a member of Killen Volunteer Fire Department and was a Singer/Songwriter.

Son: Danny Burbank

 

Daughter: Heather Hood (Nick)

 

Brothers: Chris Burbank and Ray Burbank

 

Sisters: Lisa Burbank Woodham and Angie Burbank Tucker

 

Grandchildren: Austin Barrett, Annah Goodwin, Laikyn Staggs, Kairi Burbank, Jayla Staggs, Raylan Hood, & Carolyne Hood

 

Great-grandchild: Leanna Summerhill

 

He was preceded in death by:

 

Father: Rayford Burbank

Mother: Marilyn Peden Crowden

Grandchild: Zander Goodwin

 

Visitation will be Wednesday, August 13, 2025 from 11:00 A.M. until 1:00 P.M. at Greenhill Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow in the funeral home chapel at 1:00 P.M. with Roger Troup and Eric Barnett officiating. Burial will be in Hale Cemetery.

 

Pallbearers will be Austin Barrett, Christopher Burbank, Jason Burbank, Nick Hood, Joey Goodwin, and Adam Faulkner.

 

Honorary pallbearers will be Raylan Hood, Clayton Barnett and Christian Barnett.

 

Greenhill Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
