A man was arrested after a multi-agency police chase that began in Giles County, Tennessee, and ended on Interstate 65 in Morgan County, Alabama. Authorities were alerted Friday night when the pursuit crossed into Alabama, leading deputies and the Ardmore Police Department to intercept the suspect near the state line. The driver, Jason Rose, was traveling southbound in a 3500 dually pickup truck and was seen throwing items from the vehicle during the chase. Officers deployed spike strips multiple times across Limestone and Morgan counties to bring the truck to a stop, which occurred south of the Interstate 65 bridge in Priceville. Upon arrest, deputies recovered about a quarter pound of methamphetamine that had been discarded from the truck. Rose faces charges including trafficking methamphetamine, unlawful possession of LSD and marijuana, felony attempting to elude, tampering with evidence, and possession of drug paraphernalia. He is currently held in the Limestone County Detention Facility awaiting a bond hearing, and was already out on bond for unrelated charges at the time of the incident.
