Limestone Woman Faces Burglary Charge

A burglary on Ripley Road in Limestone County has resulted in the arrest of 44-year-old Christi Lynn Tellez of Athens.  Witnesses reported seeing Tellez use a weapon to break a window and gain entry to the home.  She sustained an injury while breaking in and left a blood trail inside the home.  She stole several items before fleeing.  Investigation led to her arrest in the Owens community.  Tellez is charged with 2^nd degree burglary and is being held at the Limestone County Detention Center.
