Specialized responses included 33 instances of fire standby, law enforcement assistance, or mutual aid. Crews also participated in 3 community outreach or lifesaving training events.

Call volume for July showed a modest increase compared to both June 2025 and July 2024. Lawrence County EMS responders took part in a range of continuing education courses, covering topics such as blast injuries, cardiac arrest management, pacemaker emergencies, and obstetric care, including hands-on delivery simulations.

Several EMS personnel attended the Tennessee EMS Education Association (TEMSEA) Conference in Murfreesboro, where they received updates on EMS instruction and critical care education. Additionally, six LCEMS responders completed the Tennessee EMS Leadership Course 2, which emphasizes the importance of field training officers and structured preceptorship programs.

In addition to emergency response and training, LCEMS participated in community events including the Camp Thrive Back to School Program and the Touch a Truck event at the Loretto Lion’s Wing Cookoff.

Looking ahead, LCEMS announced the kickoff of its Fall 2025 Emergency Medical Responder (EMR) course at Lawrence County High School, set to begin with the start of the school year next week.
