Classic Car Reported Stolen from Lawrenceburg Garage

A classic car was reported stolen from a residence on Beasley Road in Lawrenceburg over the weekend, prompting an investigation by local authorities.

Deputies with the Lawrence County Sheriff’s Department responded to the call around 7:50 p.m. on Sunday, July 20. The complainant reported that a 1987 Chevrolet Monte Carlo SS had been taken from a garage on the property sometime after 6:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 19.

The vehicle, which had been stored in the garage for more than 20 years, was recently listed for sale on Facebook Marketplace. It was discovered missing at approximately 5:45 p.m. on Sunday.

Investigators are continuing to look into the incident. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Lawrence County Sheriff’s Department.
