Applications Accepted for CF&R Citizens Fire Academy

Columbia Fire & Rescue is now accepting applications for its 2025 Citizens Fire Academy.  The six-week program provides free, hands-on learning experiences for adults age 18 and older.  It offers a unique opportunity to build relationships, educate citizens, and showcase the outstanding work performed each day through the department.  Training includes live equipment demonstrations, CPR training, station tours, presentations, and a hands-on mock fire scene drill.  The program will begin Monday, August 11 and run through October 13.  You may apply online at: ColumbiaTN.gov or by visiting the City of Columbia Tennessee Facebook page.
