A routine patrol by Giles County Sheriff’s deputies on July 15 led to a significant drug arrest in the Campbellsville community.
Deputies observed a vehicle parked at a local business and approached the occupants. During the course of their investigation, deputies discovered over 20 grams of suspected methamphetamine, 15 grams of suspected marijuana, a Schedule III controlled substance, drug paraphernalia, and other items commonly associated with drug distribution.
As a result, Austin Burchell Jr. and Jeffrey Gean were taken into custody on multiple drug-related charges.
The Giles County Sheriff’s Office encourages anyone with information regarding drug activity or other crimes to contact their office.
