The Tennessee Board of Utility Regulation (TBOUR) will hold a public meeting on Thursday, July 17, to receive comments on the proposed merger between Leoma Utility District and Lawrenceburg Utility Systems. The meeting is scheduled for 10:00 a.m. at the Cordell Hull Building, located at 425 Rep. John Lewis Way North in Nashville. It will be held in the Volunteer Conference Center on the second floor. The session will be accessible both in-person and virtually, with provisions in place for electronic participation by board members. TBOUR plans to allocate time during the meeting to hear directly from members of the public regarding the proposed merger. If you wish to attend in person, a chartered bus will leave from Leoma Church of Christ at 7 a.m. Thursday. To reserve a seat on the bus, text your name to Shirley Martin Marks at (931) 629-6899. Bus riders are asked to arrive at Leoma Church of Christ by 6:30 a.m.
