Lawrenceburg Schedules Public Hearing on Zoning Ordinance Changes

The Lawrenceburg Board of Mayor and Council will hold a public hearing on Thursday, July 24, 2025, at 9:00 a.m. at 25 Public Square to discuss proposed changes to the city’s zoning ordinance.

The revisions, outlined in Ordinance 1435, include updates to amendment procedures, fee structures, and penalties, and would add a new section requiring public signage for zoning change requests. Signs must be posted at least seven days before Planning Commission review and remain until one day after final City Council approval.

Residents are encouraged to attend and provide feedback.
