THP Announces Sobriety Checkpoints for July 18 in Middle Tennessee

The Tennessee Highway Patrol (THP) has announced a series of sobriety checkpoints scheduled for Friday, July 18, 2025, across several counties as part of its ongoing highway safety enforcement efforts.

Troopers will conduct checkpoints at the following locations:

  • Moore County: State Route 50 @ 10.5 mile marker
  • Bedford County: Huffman Road near Fish Hatchery
  • Lawrence County: U.S. Highway 43 South @ 2.9 mile marker
  • Hickman County: State Route 7 @ 3 mile marker

The checkpoints are designed to detect and deter impaired driving. THP encourages all motorists to drive responsibly and reminds drivers that impaired driving puts everyone on the road at risk.
