Missing Child Found Safe, Suspect Arrested in Ardmore

A child reported missing in an Amber Alert has been found safe, and the suspect taken into custody, following a joint operation conducted early Thursday morning.

At approximately 8:00 a.m., agents from the FBI, U.S. Marshals Service, and the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation located and arrested Aaron Williams at the Rodeway Inn in Ardmore, Tennessee. The missing child, Jibreel Harun, was found with Williams and was reported to be in good health.

The Giles County Sheriff’s Office transported Williams to the Giles County Jail, where he is being held on a fugitive from justice warrant. He is awaiting extradition to Alabama.

Law enforcement officials credited the successful resolution of the case to the strong collaboration between local, state, and federal agencies involved in the search and arrest operation.
