The Tennessee Highway Patrol is competing to earn a top spot in the American Association of State Troopers’ (AAST) 12th Annual “America’s Best-Looking Cruiser” calendar contest. Tennessee is one of 40 states in the running, with public voting open now through Friday, July 11, 2025, at 11 a.m. CDT.
THP’s entry features two of its newest fleet vehicles — a 2024 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 and a 2024 Ford Mustang — posed in front of Knoxville’s landmark Sunsphere, built for the 1982 World’s Fair. The photo aims to showcase both the agency’s heritage and its modern capabilities.
The 13 states receiving the most votes will be featured in the 2026 AAST “Best-Looking Cruisers” wall calendar, with the top-voted cruiser earning the cover spot. The calendar will be available for purchase later this year at statetroopers.org, with proceeds benefiting the AAST Foundation’s student scholarship fund.
To support THP, voters can visit bit.ly/VoteTHP25 and scroll to select “Tennessee.” Only one vote is allowed per device.
